Shenzhen Metro Line Eight is a major east-west rail line connecting key areas of the city. Among its stations, Dameisha Station stands out as an ocean-themed hub with one of the most complex ceiling designs in the entire Shenzhen metro network.
Shenzhen Metro Line 8 Phase II is the city's first metro line that runs directly to the coastal areas of Dameisha and Xiaomeisha, fulfilling Shenzhen residents' long-awaited dream of "taking the subway to see the sea." The Dahua Station, built by CCCC First Highway Engineering Electrification Company, was designed as a "theme park" station filled with the charm of mountains, sea, and ocean. For this high-standard station, Jadelly supplied customized curved aluminum veneers and customized punching aluminum veneers.
These veneers were used in station halls, corridors, and main passenger areas. The double-curved aluminum veneers help create a smooth, wave-like ceiling that reflects the station's coastal design theme. The punching aluminum veneers improve acoustics by reducing noise in the busy station environment.
